Animals on Evan Almighty's Ship
If you were to be an almighty figure, such as Evan, your concern is you should always be a public figure for both human and animals. They want their lives! The reason why they are onboard the Ship is not to be human’s meat later after, but to live!
Fighting Hunger in Medan
There was once an event in Medan in 2006 or early 2007, supported by UN FAO themed "Fight Hunger". Young guys who are idealistic, distributed brochures to offices around the city, also to places where people gather such as the mall, Merdeka Walk, etc.
However, I think we still lack one most important thing, the long term impact of big advertisement on the side of a busy road, and of course, as we know, all the cost of eating meat, which they forget to include in their brochures.

Prayer
When we pray, our prayer should be like this: "Oh, Lord, bestow upon us the light to see the truth, and do whatever You wish. And my wish is May All Beings be Happy!"
I think we can add a lot, but never miss this. And if we pray like this, it is contradictory if we still eat meat, because animals are not happy when they are butchered.

In Buddhist scriptures, we learn that every action creates reaction. When the action is bad, the reaction is the same. The Lord calls it "As thy sow, so shalt thy reap."
When even after the demise of the physical body of these titans, their international businesses are still profiting handsomely everyday, at the expense of millions of chicken, cows, pigs, prawns, fishes.
Besides they produce tons of tons of by products such as months or even years of animal waste , the bone, the content of the stomach, which are disposed of to Mother Earth, creating extreme stress to the environment in long run.
I may say, according to one of the most followed holy teaching in the world, they will still stay in Hotel Hell for yet another aeon.

How many cows are killed each day?
Let's do a bit calculation.
A cow weighs about 1 ton. If 50% of its body weight is not consumable, we are left with 500 kgs for consumption. If every person eats 2 ons of flesh a day, then a cow is for 250 persons each day.
If there are 6 billion people on the planet, and 90% of them are flesh eaters, we have 5,4 billion people. Out of this number, let's say 70% are 5 years of old or more, then we have 3,78 billion people ready to go out to lunch today to have their flesh.
Now how much cow will have to go today: 3,78b/250 = 15,12 million cows sacrificed each day for the sake of this human made from the image of God.

Beautiful but Beasty
It is an everyday scene, beautiful women, sporting beautiful dresses, hairstyles, make ups, sitting in cafes, restaurants, but eating the most awful food: flesh.
I have long been stunned by these. Flesh eating animal usually sport frightening look with sharp teeth, sharp eyes, black skin, deep sound, or anything you see in a horror movie. You can compare a tiger with a deer for a contrast comparison.
However, the dark force comes in many disguises. Even the most seemingly angelic figures for human: the beautiful women, also surrender to the lure of flesh.
It is so paradoxical. I believe beautiful women are born because of good karma. And evolution speaking, most male love to have offspring from a beautiful woman. It ensures the passing of good genes, physically.
You can see habits from ages has also passed down from social genes, telling people to think one way to not the other.

Vegetarian issues
Hi, my name is Syafrin Djohan, and I live in Indonesia. I am a vegetarian since 11 years ago, and will continue to be. Right now, at this very moment, there are meat on sold in the market anywhere in the world, and it doesn't make any sense at all seeing people do not even notice any moral nor religious issue here.
Every year, millions of animals are sacrificed for this body of human. And even the professions that deal with loving kindness such as social workers, religious figures, seem to wanting no part of this unpopular undertaking.
We are left with a bunch of so called unpopular groups, trying to advocate a thing which others think a natural behavior.
Every day is a good time to start the program to educate and encourage people to start thinking about this direction. And I start mine.
